Share your trainer name, friend code and Vivillon pattern in under a minute — there's no account or profile, just your code and what you're still looking for.

Pick your Vivillon pattern
Choose the pattern (or patterns) you still need on the Find page to see which trainers are currently active for it.

Add friend codes
Filter by pattern, country or language and add the trainers whose Vivillon you're after.

Send and receive gifts
Once you're friends in-game, keep the daily gifts flowing to build up your friendship level.

Open postcards — and pin them
Gifts from far-away friends carry postcards from their region — open them for stickers, items and candy, then tap Pin so a newer gift doesn't replace the postcard before you've seen it.

Grow your Vivillon collection
Keep adding trainers from new regions until you've caught every Vivillon pattern in the game.
A few tips from experienced collectors
Pinning powers your medal progress
Every postcard you pin counts toward your Vivillon Collector medal and its regional sub-medals — that's what eventually triggers a Scatterbug encounter for that region.
The pin count goes up each time
Your first Scatterbug encounter for a region takes 3 pinned postcards, the second takes 9, and every one after that takes 15.
Nickname friends by pattern
Rename new friends after the pattern they sent you (e.g. "Marine") so you can tell at a glance which regions you still need.
Don't over-pin once an encounter triggers
Once you hit the pin threshold for a region, extra pins from it won't count until you've caught that Scatterbug — so catch it before stacking more postcards from the same place.
Your own postcards count too
You can pin (and then unpin) up to 3 of your own outgoing postcards a day, adding a little extra progress toward your next Scatterbug encounter.
